Re: Name that tune
My first thought was Ian Hunter's Central Park N' West, but the closest connection I could get to Fabrice Muamba was an ambulance reference in the lyrics and that The Reebok Stadium is just up the road from Westhoughton

I never knew Central Park had a golf course in it. And it's much more woody than I expected.

You'll need to start choosing some j-pop numbers to keep the interest of our junior members.Dr M wrote:No suggestions from our junior members?
I'm taking a guess at the delicious smooth pop number Ain't No Doubt by legendary Geordie crooner Jimmy Nail
Re: Name that tune
I'm afraid my knowledge of Mr Nail's work doesn't extend beyond his fetishisation of crocodilian footwear.

The Manhattan Transfer recorded their version of Chanson D'Amour (Song Of Love) in 1976, LaaLaa.

We need a clue? Does either the artist or the song have the word "snail" in it or do we need to be thinking a lot more laterally?

Disregard the snail (a touch of whimsy on my part) and try a more literal interpretation.LaaLaa wrote:We need a clue? Does either the artist or the song have the word "snail" in it or do we need to be thinking a lot more laterally?

If your deductions are correct, then on what part of the snail's anatomy is no salt permitted?Arthur Brutal wrote:Dr M wrote:If 'No' is correct, then what is prohibited in the song title?Arthur Brutal wrote:Dr M wrote:What meaning do you infer from the red X?
